Meet Dr. Lesley Brooks, your trusted optometrist with a passion for personalized eye care! Nestled in the vibrant community of North Asheville since 2007, Dr. Brooks brings warmth and expertise to her practice. She has been caring for patients at Carolina Eye Care on Merrimon since purchasing the practice in 2012.
Dr. Brooks earned her undergraduate degree from Florida State University before pursuing her optometry degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Brooks specializes in addressing chronic inflammatory conditions of the eye, particularly dry eye syndrome. Her dedication to understanding each patient’s unique needs ensures that you receive tailored solutions for optimal eye health.
Beyond managing conditions like glaucoma and providing essential diabetic care through retinal monitoring, Dr. Brooks is also your go-to for post-surgical follow-ups, whether it’s LASIK or cataract surgery. She is also passionate about helping you choose optical solutions for your lifestyle, whether that be with glasses, contact lenses or a flexible combination of both!
When she’s not in the office, you’ll likely find Dr. Brooks shuttling her three kids to their various activities, but sometimes she will be engrossed in a good book or playing tennis with her husband. With her skill and genuine care, Dr. Lesley Brooks is committed to helping you see the world clearly while embracing the joys of life along the way!
